We are inundated with diets, detoxes and juice cleanses. But what we aren’t talking about is our relationship with food. How we it to self-medicate while it’s also the very thing that’s making us sick. Katie Jasper is a functional nutritionist, recovering anorexic and the co-founder of Prescribe Nutrition, whose mission is to help us feel better. It’s less complicated than you might think, but it starts with tuning in to the thing you’ve been neglecting: you. Other highlights from the episode: the booze blues, yeast infections, and the one thing we should stop eating. Katie was in the throes of a sinus infection when she joined me in-studio, a reminder that our bodies are always telling us what they need—and when to slow down.

–The Insidious Yeast Infection We All Have and How to Treat it (GOOP)
How do I get a hold of Katie? I would like to know how to get training to be a nutritionist and do what she’s doing. Everything said here is what I’ve been personally investigating on my own for the last year or so. I believe our country has fallen into a fake food trap and allowed themselves to become very unhealthy. I want to educate people on food and nutrition to help them wake up and feel good again 🙂
Hi Tracey! Katie is awesome and I’m sure would be happy to share her experience with you. Check out Prescribe’s contact page: https://prescribe-nutrition.com/contact
I loved this and hope there is a part 2!
Thanks Kelly! We’d love to do a part 2! What topics would you like to see covered?
I absolutely believe that food and what we eat has a HUGE impact on how we feel.
