    I am a PTA that has specialized in pelvic health and women’s health. This episode really spoke to me, but also pointed to a problem in education about available resources for women who are expecting or mamas that have given birth. Even Bri was experiencing pain, discomfort, and incontinence while running. The thing is, there is a solution to that that pairs very well with pre and post natal fitness and yoga- its pelvic health physical therapy! It’s not well-known, but its something that changes lives. You don’t have to be in pain! You don’t have to pee yourself! It’s common but not normal!

    Pelvic health PT focuses on education, maintaining stability, addressing incontinence and pelvic pain, painful sex, low back pain, the list goes on and on. We use a lot of yoga, breath work, and mindfulness as well! I hope that this information has been helpful. Please look up pelvic health PT.
